Class Observations are required* We at the Valor & Virtue Martial Arts Academy LLC believe that choosing to start martial arts training with us requires a serious commitment, and thus requires a serious decision-making process. We have a very vigorous enrollment procedure, and we only accept new students at the beginning of each quarter. Currently, we are requiring all visits be by-appointment only. The enrollment process is as follows:
Step 1: Class observation.
March 17th - March 30th During the last two weeks of each quarter, prospective students reserve classes to observe online HERE. It is recommended that prospective students observe at least two classes.
Step 2: 1-on-1 Consultation.
On the day of the Class Observation(s), an consultation appointment is made. This is where we gather information about the prospective student's background, goals, interests, and expectations. This will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes and is not optional.
Step 3: New Student Meeting
March 31st (Sunday) At the beginning of each quarter, a formal orientation is held, where PARENTS and ADULT prospective students are required to attend; no children, please. This is not only an information session, but it is an opportunity to meet the current membership. Attendance is a requirement and is not optional.
Step 4: Free Trial Classes.
April 1st - April 13th After steps 1 through 3 have been completed, prospective students have access to 2 WEEKS FREE trial classes. During the first two weeks of each quarter, prospective students must attend at least one trial class; two trial classes are preferred.
Step 5: Follow up meeting & Enrollment.
When the prospective student has completed all steps, a final appointment is made to determine enrollment.
We currently offer the following classes (KIDS = ages 9 - 13 yrs):
- KIDS KARATE (M & W 5:30 - 6:30 pm, SAT 9:30 - 10:30 am)
- ADULT KARATE (M & W 6:45 - 8:00 pm, SAT 9:30 - 10:30 am)
- KIDS MMA (T & TH 5:30 - 6:30 pm, SAT 10:45 - 11:45 am)
- ADULT MMA (T & TH 6:45 - 8:00 pm, SAT 10:45 - 11:45 am)
